Objectives and results
The overall objective of the EU4JUST project is to promote EU studies in the field of human rights protection and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) among students, young people, academics, young researchers, public administration staff, judges and for civil society by contributing to the promotion a better understanding of EU practices in the field of mediation as an effective mechanism for democracy and the protection of human rights, the promotion of complex extrajudicial procedures, as one of the most important premises for the Europeanization of the Republic of Moldova, by reducing corruption, increasing social cohesion and economic prosperity.
The EUPROIN objectives:
- To promote excellence in teaching and research in the field of EU studies for the protection of human rights and the ADR procedure;
- To encourage dialogue in the field of human rights protection and the ADR procedure between academia and society, including local and state decision-makers, judges, mediators, civil society actors, representatives of different levels of education and the media ;
- To generate knowledge and insights in the field of human rights protection and the ADR procedure, which will support EU policy-making and strengthen the role of the EU;
- To include active outreach and education that will spread knowledge about EU subjects to the wider society (beyond academia and the specialist public), which will bring the EU closer to the public.
- To increase the visibility of scientific resources and research results in the field of studies on the protection of human rights and the ADR procedure in the Republic of Moldova
- To improve the understanding in the EU of the real problems and development trends regarding the protection of human rights and the ADR procedure in the Republic of Moldova.
