Doctor of law, university professor in the “Private Law” Department of the Faculty of Law, State University of Moldova, specializing in Consumer Law, Business Law. He is a licensed lawyer, CEDR mediator and arbitrator. He has over 18 years of experience in the field of law and teaches in Russian, English and French. He has been a trainer since 2012 within the National Institute of Justice (initial and continuous training of judges and prosecutors).

Teaching experience at Bachelor’s and Master’s level, thesis coordinator of 3 doctoral theses (authorized since – 2015). Between 2008-2015 he held the position of deputy director of the Agency for Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance. He was a member of the Disciplinary Board of Judges within the Superior Council of Magistracy and a member of the Disciplinary Board within the National Union of Judicial Executors.

She is a member of several projects in the field of education and research:

Teaching activity for over 18 years and author of over 90 scientific articles, including the thesis on abusive clauses in contracts concluded with consumers, an aspect of French, Moldovan and European Union law, published by the French academic press in 2015. Ms. university professor, PhD, Violeta Cojocaru has been working at the State University of Moldova, Faculty of Law since 1995, after graduating from the Faculty of Law of the University “Al. I. Cuza” Iasi, Romania. In 2000, he defended his doctoral thesis at the University “Al. I. Cuza”, Iasi, Romania. In the period 1998-2000 he attended postgraduate academic studies at the National School of Political and Administrative Studies in Bucharest, Romania. From 2005 to 2015, Mrs. Violeta Cojocaru, PhD in law, university professor, was the head of the Department of International Law and Law of External Economic Relations.
From 2016 to 2018, he is the head of the International and European Law Department, and during the period 2018-2019 he provides the interim position of Dean of the Faculty of Law, being appointed in 2019 Vice-Rector of USM Student Activities, and from 2021 Vice-Rector of Institutional Management of the State University of Moldova .
In recent years, Mrs. Violeta Cojocaru has held the position of Member of the Superior Council of Magistracy, Director of the Francophone Legal Branch, Expert evaluator of AUF, RIFFEF, CIFDUF, President of the Supervisory Board of the Teleradio-Moldova Company, CNAA Expert, ANACEC. He holds the position of coordinator of national and international projects, trainer within the National Institute of Justice and within the Soros Program, mediator within the International Center for Settlement of Investment Disputes, Washington, USA.
Ms. Violeta Cojocaru has published over 130 scientific and methodical-didactic works. In terms of teaching, he holds the course Private International Law, International Judicial Cooperation in Civil and Commercial Matters, Legal Protection of Children’s Rights, guiding and consulting students, master’s and doctoral students; supervisor of bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate theses. He participated in over 100 conferences, seminars and symposia, and 50 training and improvement courses in the country and abroad. Since 2005, he holds the right to exercise the scientific management of doctoral theses.
As a visiting professor he worked at: Montpellier II University, “Babeş-Bolyai” University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, “Ss. Cyriland Methodius”, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia, AUCA University, IBL Department, Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, Toulouse II-Le Mirail University, Savoie University, Chambery, France, Sophia Antipolis University, Nice, France, West University of Timisoara, Romania, etc. .
State honors and awards: Diploma Young Scholar of the Year 2007, AŞM, Honorary Diploma of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, 2007, Emeritus, Decree of October 17, 2009, Diploma of the Ministry of Justice, 2016, Glory of Labor Medal 2019.

Associate Professor at the Department of International and European Law, Faculty of Law of the State University of Moldova with specialization in International and European Environmental Law, Human Rights in the European Union. She has 18 years of experience in higher education and research activities in the field of implementing innovative teaching and learning methods on international and European Union standards for the protection of human rights. She places a strong emphasis on the use of modern ICT and on student teamwork through the application of problem-based learning in small student groups.

Dr. Natalia Zamfir has experience in curriculum development, was directly involved in the design and implementation of a new Master’s Program in Human Rights. As a result, in 2013 a new Master’s Program in Human Rights was launched by the Faculty of Law of the State University of Moldova, which includes approximately 16 special courses, and a new library of approximately 350 book titles, established to support the new teaching methods used in the Master’s program.

She developed a new discipline and a new curriculum on Human Rights in Europe. In addition, she participated in organizing over 10 workshops and trainings for teachers at the Faculty of Law on topics related to Human Rights, curriculum development, interactive teaching methods, etc. Experience in coordinating and implementing activities within the EU project on the Introducing Problem Based Learning in Moldova: Towards Enhancing Students (PBLMD), Erasmus+.

She is a bronze medal winner as a team member at the International Specialized Exhibition “INFOINVENT” for developing an innovation system for the motorization of the quality of Black Sea river ecosystems in the context of climate change.

LAZĂR Diana

University lecturer in the Department of International and European Law, Faculty of Law of the State University of Moldova, specializing in private and international law. He has a lawyer’s license and is an arbitrator in the Court of International Commercial Arbitration attached to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova.
She is currently the Director of the wine industry and tourism within the USAID Rural Competitiveness and Resilience Project in Moldova (2023-2027) in which she supports the development of policies, standards and regulations for the business environment, develops entrepreneurial programs, continuous and initial training educational programs , develops international and regional partnerships.
He has over 15 years of experience in economic growth, public policy and regulatory legal reforms in key industries, workforce development and market promotion, project management. He directed, coordinated and implemented important projects in the field of development of the business environment in the Republic of Moldova through various projects financed by USAID, Sweden, Great Britain, he is the author and co-author of several regulatory and institutional initiatives. He coordinated the development and promotion of the first national brands of the Republic of Moldova (Wine of Moldova, Tree of Life) and developed extensive international marketing programs, which led to significant increases in exports to Western markets.
He was secretary general of the Court of International Commercial Arbitration by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova. Between 2010 and 2014, he held the position of project coordinator within the USM Faculty of Law – the Academic Scholarship Program of the Institute for an Open Society. He has over 18 years of teaching experience in the field of law and teaches in Romanian, English and French. Research activities mainly concern international commercial arbitration and private international law. In particular, he has qualifications in mediation and other methods of promoting democratic dialogue (Central European University Summer School, 2010); He benefited from the following trainings abroad:
– Practical training of arbitrators of the Court of International Commercial Arbitration by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (National Institute of Justice of Moldova, 2015);
– Training course on mediation as an alternative dispute resolution (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution – Great Britain, 2019).

He has experience in the field of European integration and the EU economy, and has extensive professional and managerial experience in the coordination of Jean Monnet and large-scale international projects:

OLĂRAȘU Nicolae

Doctoral student in the Doctoral School of Legal Sciences of the Academy of Public Administration absorbed by the State University of Moldova, having as a research field the efficiency of the activity of public authorities empowered with the right to consumer protection. In the 8 scientific articles published in national and international journals, he addressed aspects of public administration in the field of consumer protection and the transposition of European legislation. He has 10 years of teaching experience in the field of consumer protection within the College of Administrative and Fiscal Studies.

He is also certified in the field of intellectual property (authorized representative), quality infrastructure. He has extensive experience in the field of market surveillance and consumer protection thanks to his work in the Agency for Consumer Protection and Market Surveillance, as head of department, being responsible for organizing information, counseling and education activities for consumers and the business environment in the regarding compliance with commercial and quality infrastructure requirements. Until March 2023, he held the position of head of the Department of Business Consulting Services within the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova, being responsible for providing consulting and training services to managers and employees of companies under SAL administration, especially mediation, as part of its main business.
